Located just a short distance from London’s famous Chancery Lane, nestled in the cosy Georgian period streets, lies number one Bedford Row. It’s here where Firemind’s London office can be located, providing ample access to the surrounding Holborn area, and to the offices of our partners at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As our growing team becomes acquainted with the central location, we thought we’d share some behind-the-scenes on what makes this Firemind office truly special.
A rich history
Number one Bedford Row provides Firemind an office location that’s not only easily accessible to our partners and customers, but steeped in a rich history and it’s own unique personality. Built in 1718, it’s illustrious inhabitants have included Cassandra Willoughby (aka the Duchess of Chandos), and James Bonner, a prestigious Barrister at the Doctors Commons (almost 300 years ago).
Commercially, the Georgian mansion was occupied for over 200 years by the prestigious law firm Gregory, Rowcliffe and Milners (from approximately 1807 until 2022). It’s since been renovated to provide businesses a diverse, one-of-a-kind home, packed full of meeting rooms, private offices, quirky escape areas and conference locations with an added ‘wow factor’.
